Galleries / carousels

Galleries (or carousels) are a common way of displaying multiple scrollable items in chatbots. They consist of separate cards, each containing image, title, description and up to 3 buttons.

Galleries are most often used to display product listings, for example in e-commerce chatbots. They can also be used to display all other kinds of content – the only limit is your imagination. Think of appointment times, team members, real estate listings, etc.

Some of the most common use cases for galleries are chatbot menus as in the picture above. They provide a convenient way of navigation between different skills in your chatbot.

Activechat supports multiple kinds of galleries – in e-commerce blocks, Google Sheets integrations, JSON responses, etc. But the most common type is a regular gallery that can be rendered with the GALLERY block.
